It is something that gets to your heads. First year physics students going into sciences may be subjected to this psychological torture. Basically, you have six chances to answer a question correct, after that... you get O. Some people develop a certain detached immunity towards it, overcoming their initial fears, picturing in their minds the day when the program will no longer be needed to judge adequate understanding of elementary physics.

Punishing students for trying to learn by making homework become a graded quiz rather than a learning tool, and consequently depriving them of time to actually learn by keeping them preoccupied with ambiguous and gramatically incorrect descriptions and questions.
I am your professor, and you will be mastering physics. Mwahahahaha!!!!

Th kind of a troll that common net-trolls cannot out-troll in forums. Genuinely smart, a Master Troll is commonly the *most* clever of trolls who usually leaves other net-trolls and innocent preys mentally beat up ain frustration or even anger.
Unlike common net-trolls, Master Trolls are at times a friend to many. He seldom or even never puts himself under the threads of others to seek attention. He usually starts his own "troll thread" as a venue, with the capacity to lure other trolls and counter trolls for a challenge which triggers their hunger for revenge in a battle of wits.

In the video game series "The Legend of Zelda", the Master Sword is the sword you need to get in order to defeat Ganon, the porcinous King of Evil. The Master Sword may only be pulled from its pedestal by a righteous and courageous person. Link, an orphan boy who gets involved in the plot by happenstance/coincidence turns out to be this chosen person, and after proving himself to the gods, he is allowed the Master Sword and uses it to challenge Ganon.
The Master Sword is not only a sword though. In the storyline for "Ocarina of Time" it acted as a key, and its pedestal was the lock. Upon removing or inserting the sword from the pedestal, you could travel back and forward in time by about seven years. In the storyline for "A Link to the Past", the Master Sword shoots a magical energy beam out of the end when Link is full on life energy. In all storylines involving the Master Sword, major enemies (including Ganon) attempt to fire evil magic beams at Link intending to kill him. This is where the Master Sword comes in handy; it is immune to evil, and can be used to deflect the evil away from Link, most of the time back at its caster.
The Master Sword is commonly referred to as "The blade of evil's bane". Tragically, upon pulling the Master Sword from the pedestal, the ancient seal on Ganon's magic is broken, and he only becomes stronger. Such is the fate of Link, Ganon, and Princess Zelda.

A term, created for the Dungeons & Dragons game, that describes the player who fulfills two important functions during a roleplaying game: referee and storyteller.
As the rules for Dungeons & Dragons are vast and complex, it's the job of the Dungeon Master to facilitate gameplay and to determine the outcome of contested events by deciding how to interpret a given rule or dice roll.
It's also the job of a Dungeon Master to provide the setting for the players' fictional characters, create goals for the characters to accomplish, and to fill any supporting roles needed for the adventure (kings, princes, dragons, innkeepers, barmaids, villains, etc.).
The ultimate goal of a Dungeon Master is provide a fun and satisfying challenge for the players to overcome, through acting, exploration, puzzle-solving, and scenario-based decision-making.

Dungeon Master "With your wounded shoulder, you're having a difficult time focusing on your target, and each round fired causes pain to shoot through your arm. Both shots miss."
Girl "I'm taking cover behind this barrel and shooting again! Bang! Bang!"
Dungeon Master "The barrel provides excellent cover, and your aim is true. Both shots strike the leg. He's not going to be able to move particularly fast."
Girl "Yay!"
Boy "Darn! Wait! I notice that the barrel she's hiding behind says 'flammable!' "
Girl "Flammable? What's that mean?"
Dungeon Master "Indeed, the barrel is labeled as flammable. What do you do?"
Boy "I use the last of my energy to shoot the barrel she's hiding behind!"
Dungeon Master "Oh, my. Are you sure?"
Boy "Yes! Bang! Bang!"
Dungeon Master "Well, then..."
