The other driver aggressively accelerates to block the driver from merging in the first place. Also known as an aggressive driver move to scare the merging driver or denying entry.

When one group or organization writes a check or pays money on behalf of another, usually unaffiliated group or organization, after which the original organization is reimbursed by the latter organization or group, essentially "zeroing" or canceling the balance exactly.

United Way of America zeroed a check for us to pay off the rental fees because we are unaffiliated with them.
