The stupid fashion statement of popping the collar on a polo shirt.
Mostly done by young men between the ages of 17 and 25.
The popped collar is a way of detecting arrogance and idiocy with out engaging in conversation with someone.
"Look at that guy, he's got to be an idiot and a dick. You can tell from his popped collar"

pop-rock is that sort of music that you can bop to, without the same funky sound as pure pop. many people think that just because music has a bass, guitar and drums it is rock or punk. this is just silly. pop rock has to have atleast a slight essence of rock. Kelly clarkson is pop. 48 may is pop rock. there is a difference!
often confused with "emotional punk", which is meant to be punk about life and love, completely missing the point of punk(that it isnt punk unless its about disagreeing, being yourself, being angry and giving the big finger to people who judge you for it). emotional punk does not exist. punk is not about love and life and any good emotions. thats what pop rock is about!

Other than the military word for literally popping smoke grenades or leaving, Pop Smoke also refers to the late rapper from Brooklyn, New York. An up-and-coming talent, he started blowing up in 2019 with his song "Welcome to the Party", featured on his mixtape Meet the Woo. In February 2020, he released the sequel to the mixtape, Meet the Woo 2. Unfortunately, he was shot and killed in a home invasion a week later. RIP.
Pop Smoke was a lit rapper. You can't deny it, but he was really popping some smoke on his two mixtapes. I wonder when Meet the Woo 3 will come out.

Pat DiNizio, singer/rhythm guitarist/songwriter of the cool New Jersey garage rock/alternative rock band Smithereens says that this phrase, which is the title of a hit from their 1991 album "Blow Up", means basically "Hey man, c'est la vie". This is in the CD liner notes of the album "Blown to Smithereens, Best of the Smithereens".
Top Top, Top of the Pops Rock on!
