Dr Dre

Eazy E’s bitch, Who though he could diss the E, he is also known for his rap songs supporting Deathrow and is famous for “finding an anorexic rapper”- snoop dogg. Also it is made clear that Dre was a homo looking she thang based on his early album covers. It is also a rumor that The “original baby gangster” (bg knoccout) still wants to shank him with his motherphucking shank). Dre will forever be remembered as a studio gangster.

The Dre Era

The years (1990-1998) in which famous rapper, producer and entrepreneur Dr Dre was most active.

The Chronic is one of the best albums that came out of the Dre Era.

A talented producer, but he's not as great as most of these people are saying he is. He's not that great of an MC, his best bars were either written by Eminem or Snoop. Some better producers are DJ Premier (who I think is the greatest producer of all time, Pete Rock, Jam Master Jay, Terminator X, Prince Paul, Marley Marl, Madlib, Lord Finesse, and the RZA.

One of Dr. Dre's best songs on 2001, The Message, wasn't even produced by him, it was produced by Lord Finesse.

Dr. Dre

Dr. Dre has been producing music during his entire career. In the late 1980's, the N.W.A. (Niggaz Wit Attitude) were a rebellious rap crew that started and defined the subgenre of gangsta rap. Everyone that Dr. Dre has made a significant positive effect on is Eminem, G-Unit, Nas, The Game, Ice Cube, Jay-Z, himself, Warren G, Snoop Dogg, Tupac, Obie Trice, D12, The D.O.C., Eazy-E, MC Ren, DJ Yella, The Game, Eve, Busta Rhymes and Xzibit. Now if you look over at that list, almost everyone there is a well-known A-list rapper. Dr. Dre also produces for pop and R&B artists.

Also, Dr. Dre's authenticity shouldn't be doubted. Several rappers talk about coming from the 'hood and the ghetto and living hard lives. But truthfully, only few people, including Dr. Dre, actually experienced hardships in their hoods.

If it wasn't for Dr. Dre, the rap game wouldn't be the same.

The Producer/Rapper has released two solo albums: The Chronic (1992) and 2001 (1999).

Dr. Dre released two albums with the N.W.A.: Straight Outta Compton (1988) and Niggaz4Life (1991).

He began his solo career in Death Row records, but left and started Aftermath. Eminem started Shady records, which is now called Shady/Aftermath.

Dr. Dre

An extremely mainstream, terribly overrated producer.

He was certainly influential though.

He created a poppier, bubble gum, more radio-friendly sound that attracting a whole new crowd to hip-hop, which the grittier, darker, more complex hip-hop from the East Coast didn't appeal to.

Doesn't have anything on the RZA, or DJ Premier.

If you believe Dr. Dre is better than RZA or Premo, you have terrible taste in hip-hop.
