A Internet Bestfriend is a friend whom you have made over the Internet or whom you know and you talk over social media but not in person, normally you are quite close with this person/people as why the term is called Internet bestfriend not internet friend

A gay bestfriend is someone who usually is not gay, but gets friendzoned by females he was/is interested in. In the other case of them actually being homosexual, then they are there to give compliments to the females that have befriended them.
