the quite wrong term for moshing at shows nowadays. When you go to a show, and swing your arms around, do spin kicks, punch the ground, and bring the motherfucking ruckus to the little kids, and throw the shit down.
"yo brah, lets go to that hardxcore terror/unearth show and dance"
"yo lets dance and piss off the teachers and principal when we get to the talent show tonight"

A popular "Dancing" game that started in '95. The basic point of the game is to step in the coresponding button on the mat/pad when the colored arrow reaches the gray "Step Zone" The catch? There are multiple patterens and hard songs that newbies always die on (Sakura, Max series {MAX. RULES!}, PARANOiA {Yes, it is all uppercase except the "i"}, and other Cata+ songs like bag {yes all lower case} ) Your ability is based on you timing, Eye-Foot cordination and your stamina. There are several modes, Begginer, Light/Easy/Basic, Standered/Another/Trick, Heavy/Hard/Manic,
and Oni/Challange (DDR Ammerica)/Double Maniac. Some people hate it because it is a cheat-free game except the DDR Extreme (MAX 3)unlock codes. Or, they heard or saw a person play Butterfly, the originals or really weird ones (Let's talk it over and many others), and my favorite, Sexy Planet.

I play DDR, I'm a DDR wiseman, but I don't play very well.

A game that people often think is a dance simulation game. It actually doesn't simulate dancing very well.
There are quite a few decent songs on it, such as Lupin the 3rd '78, Midnite Blaze, Last Message, and Burnin' the Floor. The songs in DDR, however, still pale in comparison to IIDX's.
Most players are scrubs who are obsessed with the game but can't even pass a "3 foot" rank song, and keep putting their feet back in the center of the pad. Once they improve, they will play the same 3-5 songs in a row, unknowingly pissing off people like me.
On the bright side, the game offers a great workout.
Before you say that I am jealous of DDR players, or that I have never played it, keep in mind that I have played the game for 2 years, am very skilled, know much about the series, and I still play it from time to time, though the game to me is not just as enjoyable as it used to be.
I play Dance Dance Revolution when I don't have access to Drummania or Beatmania IIDX.

Verb: An Americanized form of martial arts in action. This consists of odd movement, usually coinciding with the beats of music. Though, many homeless people do it without music. The instant you see someone do this, they are preparing to attack, therefore you should immediately rush them before they strike.
"Hey, do you...do you wanna dance?"
"WHAT! HEY BUBBA, THIS FOO IS THREATENING ME!"
"You threatin' Clair?! Now you die, mothafucka!"
