Ok first off I don't know who anyone can compare counter-strike to this game, they are in no way similar except they are a FPSs.
Deus Ex is quite possibly the best game ever made. No game is as innovative, well executed, well written, and plain old fun as this. This game never gets old no matter how much you play it. You can play anyway you want and your actions will affect the outcome of the storyline in dramatic ways. If you explore the game deeply it has a lot of cool hidden stuff. It gave birth to the whole good-guy-bad-guy meter a lot of games have today (Knights of the Old Republic, Fable, Elder Scrolls), but this game pwns them all. The beginning of the game drags a bit but if you get past the first 2 levels it picks up. The story line is deep and fun to follow also. What really makes this game shine is the nano-augumentation system on how you can upgrade your-self and really affect how you play. This game is not for everyone, if you want a pick up and play game you will hate this. If you love deep, engrossing games with countless hours of replay, you will not be let down.
Though System Shock 2 had this concept and was around before Deus Ex(one year before I think), it was not executed well and had many flaws.
If you haven't played Deus Ex you have no right to call yourself a gamer. Buy or download this game right now, just play it!

A former wife. Did not take marriage vows seriously. Probably was emotionally detatched or cheating for months or years, all the while leaving their blissfully ignorant husbands thinking that everything is fine. Will usually do that for their monetary or social benifit. More than likely dropped the divorce bomb on their husband before he saw it comming, like a nuke in the night.
Will gain overwhelming sympathy from all mutual friends and her family, making the husband seem like the bad guy. Will get custody of the children 9 out 10 of the times, even if she can't afford to support them...but that's ok, because the "justice" system will make sure that you support her like your still married, but she'll be sucking off another guy in the place you payed for.
Won't let your kids stay with you for more than 48 hours if you live more than 2 blocks away from her. Will do her duty to leak your secrets to all her friends, family, and every guy she sleeps with.
I'm an ex wife. I'm justified in breaking your heart into a trillion peices because your not the man I married. Sure, I can gain weight, nag, cheat, and not have sex with you for months at a time, but damn it, your still suppose to be the same way you were on the day we got married...

The guy/girl who's a complete relationship ruiner. They're pretty desperate to make it work with someone and tend to rush straight into being 'in love forever' with everyone they hook up with, only to break up a maximum of a few months later. They will never even consider that they might have caused any of their relationship problems, and will constantly be on the search for someone 'deserving' of their love and attention.
A: Did you see Tim's facebook status last night? He's only been with his girlfriend a week and he's saying he'll always love her.
B: Lol, again? The guy's a serial ex, I'll give you ten dollars it won't last more than four months.
