To view a television show or movie in short segments using the "skip ahead x seconds" feature of modern computer-video players. Usually because the video concerned is of low to moderate interest but otherwise contain large numbers of scene of dubious worth (trite expository dialog, etc.)

Apollo 18 was so boring and predictable, I ended up skip-watching it.

Skipping town

A term used for when a person commits something such as a crime and leaves the vicinity.

Kiowa is skipping town because he killed Gabe.

Skip strip

1. An area of hair (usually a strip) that you skip on accident while shaving. The term applies to any area of the body. (legs, underarms, pubes, etc.)

(looking at leg) Haha, I found a skip strip! "Darn it, I hate when that happens!"

skip boss

A shorter way of saying your boss' boss. The manager two levels above you. The person to whom your boss reports.
