Relief Over Missing Out. The opposite of FOMO.
I have so much ROMO that I missed that New Year's Eve party. It was a shit show.
The relief of missing out. Inner satisfaction of having stayed in rather than going to a dead plan.
"We actually didn't do much after you went home early yesterday"
"Don't worry, had such ROMO when I left"
The relief of missing out
That party is going to be so bad I’m staying home and getting ROMO
A word used to describe someone of Romanian, Romani, Roman, or similar Eastern European descent. When used in the correct context, it can be used as an derogatory insult.
Like the controversial “N-Word,” an R-Word pass can be given to allow non-Romo people use this term.
Furthermore, Romo can be used as a brotherly or platonic term if used in the correct context (e.g. “What’s up, my Romo?”).
Anton is a Homo Romo.
Yo, what’s up my Romo.
Relief of Missing Out, opposite of FOMO
- All of my friends went for this illegal rave outside in nature... I decided not to go, and stay in. It started raining, and I'm inside all comfy, while my friends are getting wet. ROMO!
- When your friends want to do something and it is too much effort and you decide not to go and you later hear it was a disaster.
