Relief of Missing Out, opposite of FOMO
- All of my friends went for this illegal rave outside in nature... I decided not to go, and stay in. It started raining, and I'm inside all comfy, while my friends are getting wet. ROMO!
- When your friends want to do something and it is too much effort and you decide not to go and you later hear it was a disaster.
The relief of missing out. So quite the opposite of Fomo.
"I'm not going to the party" - "Do you not get Fomo?" - "No, quite the opposite, I feel Romo".
Basically calling something or someone "homo" in a more discreet and elusive way as to avoid coming off blatantly prejudiced and/or insensitive.
Guy 1: "Bro, I have to go to the dentist. I'll probably get some shots in my mouth..."
Guy 2: "Dude! No Romo!"
