seat encroacher

When you are sitting on an airplane and the person next to you is taller or fatter so parts of their body start to spread to your seay making you uncomfortable.

The obese woman's thigh was touching mine on the airplane. What a seat encroacher!

I had to put a pillow next to the seat divider because the man's elbow were in my space. I hoped when his elbow touched the pillow he would stop being a seat encroacher. At the very least, he'd be touching the pillow and not me.

Seat Filler

A regular person used to fill up space (usually) in award shows so it looks like it's packed full with people. Whenever somebody gets up to accept an award, a 'seat filler' is ordered to sit in that seat. They're may also be used to seperate celebrities from others, as award shows have a very strict seating chart to avoid any problems.

Guy: Alright, Maroon 5 is getting up to accept their 'award', you guys will take their seats.

window seat

1. Seat with the better view.

2. From a business stand-point, when an employer is given a fancy title because of his/her reputation in the past but in the present is fairly useless as far as the business itself goes.

1. Jon took the window seat of the airplane to view the skies.

2. Jon got promoted to 'High Executive Manager'. He doesn't really do anything important since his work has gone stale but he is kept in the company simply because the public has known him for so long it'd be awkward to see him out of it.
