Pub Grub

Extremely low grade cocaine, typically bought in the toilets of a manky boozer. As likely to engender feelings of paranoia and a horrible empty craving for more than any actual enjoyable buzz.

I tried to get some decent gack, but all I could get hold of was Jim's shit pub grub.

Pub slut

A woman whose haggard appearance and demeanour indicates she has spent most of her life at pubs and bars, binge drinking, chain smoking, sleazing onto men and picking bar fights. Typical physical traits include bleached blonde hair, overtanned and wrinkled, armband tattoo, silver rings on every finger, saggy boobs (which she is not opposed to flop out for the boys) hanging out of a white crocheted singlet. Can be found sitting at the bar, drinking a pint of cider and smoking a cigarette.

Chloe: "Your mum's a pub slut."
Katie: "But, so are we."
Chloe: "Oh, yeah. Woo! Tits out for the boys!"

pub rock

A rock movement that originated around Essex in England, from which many excellent performers got their start. The pub rock movement was a creative outburst that grew in reaction to the staid, creative wasteland of progressive pop culture, with its lengthy guitar/drum solos and tired drug culture/hippie imagery. It brought rock and roll back to having fun, yet didn't contain the pretentiousness of the later punk rock movmenet. Joe Strummer, Graham Parker, Wreckless Eric, Brinsley Schwarz, Nick Lowe, Dave Edmunds, Elvis Costello and others all came out of the "pub rock" scene, some redefining themselves later for commercial reasons or due to artistic growth.

Graham Parker and the Rumour was a famous band whose members came from the pub rock movement.

Pub lawl

It is a mocking term for a Pub Crawl. It serves as a way to hypocritically ridicule the whole concept of a pub crawl and its patrons (although, the people who go make fun of them also attend them from time to time). "lawl" is a l33t or an internet slang for the acronym LOL, therefore adding to the hilarity of the term.

Person 1: Hey, what are Shannon and Ashley doing this weekend?
Person 2: Oh they're going to some lame Pub lawl with a bunch of Corona flip-flop wearing dude bros.
Person 1: HA!.....dude, I wanna go too...
