A digital display of affection (DDA) is when someone displays their affection for another through the use of social media.
Nicholas: “Did you see Lew’s recent instagram post about his new girlfriend Gabby?”
Kimberly: “oh yeah, it was a total DDA”
Nicholas: “whats a DDA?”

When you are in a relaxed, comfortable state of mind, watching television and a commercial airs with an extremely attractive women actress. Suddenly your hormones become hyper-active and the desire to engage in sexual intercourse becomes intense. The transition from mellow to aroused after observing a hot girl is know as the Hot Girl Affect.

A form of boredom that occurs in relation to mandatory meetings, most commonly those centered around a presentation.
Symptoms include difficulty in staying awake, and delirious hallucinations more commonly referred to as daydreams.

The idea that an artist or performer (who wouldn't be attractive in the usual sense) is deemed attractive based on their amazing performance skills.
Most people do not know they are experiencing the Ed Sheeran Affect.

Those who suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder and become nasty in December for that and the usual reasons.
