So I've been reading what people have to say about this band on here while randomly searching about and I just have to say are you people kidding me? It's music get over it, you don't have to like them, I used to like them but my tastes changed but that doesn't mean they suck. I mean honestly "posers"? What are you a bunch of idiotic children? Really? It's freaking music, people like all sorts of music. Just because you don't like them or the genre does not mean they're bad.
Grow up, people like what they like, get over it. And PLEASE stop using the word poser. It makes you all look like moronic children. I have the feeling most of you actually are children. Music is music, enjoy what you like, leave other people to enjoy what they like. Damn.

Good Charlotte are no posers!! they never said that they are punk, emo or something like that!! they are themselves!! people always try to make them worse... but they are not!! Good Charlotte have their own style they don't need a fucking lable.. and just cause they are not punk, hardcore, emo or sth like that.. it doesn't mean that they are posers!
i also hate those teens.. that just love the members... and don't care about the music.. but that don't means that the band is worse! it just means that those teens are not true fans and are stupid!!

A hot punk rock band. Joel, the lead singer is bangin! onCe Benji, his twin loses the nose ring...he'll be just as fine as well! they used to live in poverty, but made it big in 2002. they have 3 CDs out..the newest one is the Chronicles of Life & Death. Good Charlotte if u read this I luv u!!!!

People call Good charlotte posers, and whinners. They are not posers. No one just knows how to accept them. You dont HAVE to be either, punk or emo or something. Theres something called being yourself. And Good charlotte is there own thing. And they don't really care if you cry about how there posers becasue you can't even judge Good charlotte and they know that, and good charloote even sadi themselves, that only God can judge them. So wahhh? YOU think there posers. And people also say that they always complain about how sad and tragic there life is. Well, you obviosly dont know what they've been through. There dad left them when they were like 15. (on chritmas!) and they were so poor and they even had to live in a neighbors shed in the baackyard for a while. They were so poor and no one liked them becasue they weren't rich and beautiful and all that. And sure i'll admit it, joel madden isnt the best singer, but the music they have written is amazing and so are they, and i still can not believe what they've been through. And every song is like them crying becasue they were scarred so badly from there dad leaving them and from everything they've been through. If you had gone through all that crap, I'd like to see how YOU handled it.
Good Charlotte deserves EVERYTHING they have, and i love them for that!

they arent posers because they wrote a song called "the anthem" which is about not being posers...and if you think thay suck, you can go under a rock and DIE! because Good Charlotte ROCKS!

Good Charlotte is the best punk rock band ever!!!!!!!they totally kick ass and if anyone disagrees with that then they dont like punk rock. they're not in it for the money they're in it to play the kind of music they love for them and for their fans.they're awesome!!!

A pop-punk band from Waldorf, Maryland. First, I'd like to say that they sound NOTHING like Simple Plan. Good Charlotte is a bit rebellious against trends, fame, and war. Sure, they make some of their music sound emo-ish, but they have never whined about their parents like Simple Plan and Linkin Park have.
Good Charlotte are not posers like many think. Like Simple Plan, blink-182, and New Found Glory, their 99.9% poser fanbase, for some reason, put them in the punk category. They even categorize themselves as pop-punk.
Good Charlotte's Joel went out with Hilary Duff, who is more of a poser than Avril. I couln't care less if Hil is a poser. It's just that she's a psychopath and Joel is WAY too good for her.
I'd like to add one more thing...absolutely DO NOT ever compare Good Charlotte with Bowling For Soup, blink-182, SUM 41, or Green Day.
I remember when Good Charlotte had an actual drummer and Joel played guitar.
