Camden, NY

Camden NY is a sleepy hillbilly town, where people can turn on you at the drop of a hat.

2,000 approx. pop. in the middle of nowhere Central New York Rust Belt community. It was farm that became a town - nuff said. You explain that.

The poorly cared for victorian houses are now being sold left and right, because everyone and his brother is a drug dealer in that town, and crime is everywhere. Don't let the "Queen Village" misnomer fool you - that was way back in 1982. Now it's a central trading town in the drug trade between there and Canada. Not as bad as Sylvan Beach but almost.

Don't go to Camden High School - 2nd largest area in the state school district-wise, but 85 percentile if that. Most students aren't passing even. Cam-Dumb it's called.

I just moved to Camden, NY

Oppenheim, Ny

A village with a very weird name. Most likely a cult but weโ€™ll never know due to the fact residents there partake in the annual Cousin-Dick Sucking Competition that takes place once a year and Up The Ass Day, where you can stick just about anything up there.

Oppenheim, Ny sounds like a nice place to live!

A place that is known to have a bunch of Hasidic Jews. You see them at every corner and at every park. Temples are everywhere and Hebrew text can be seen at every place.

Friend: Yo why are there so many Hasidic Jews.

scotia, ny

Scotia, NY is a small town with a population of around 8,000 just outside of Schenectady. There is a tiny strip of village along Mohawk Ave. known for nothing else put cops pulling cars over for every and anything to pad the coffers. If you read the local paper The Daily Gazette you will notice the police blotter is filled with no other crimes but traffic infractions from Scotia. It is like shooting fish in a barrel. The village is however small enough to go around it to avoid tickets. The villages only attraction is Collins Park which is overrun by geese that defecate everywhere. The only good thing is if coming from Schenectady, Collins Park is just over the bridge so you may make it to and from the park without being pulled over. That is if you go on a day when a Scotia officer is not waiting on the bridge to ambush.

You better detour around Scotia, NY, you have one of those tree air fresheners hanging from your rear view mirror and they will ticket you for obstruction of view.
