Dicked The Show

To screw up really bad.

To not show up at all and the people waiting for you are screwed because you flaked out.

Damn it! Our drummer is not going to make it tonight. Looks like he dicked the show again.

I dicked the show and forgot to pick up beer. Shit! You have any money?

We are going to run out of gas! Dude, you totally dicked the show. Why didn't you get gas?

The Moxy Show

The Moxy Show - 1st original cartoon network program,
The series was first known as The Moxy Pirate Show.

The show consists of classic cartoons divided by live 3-D animated interstitials featuring Moxy and Flea, respectively a dog and a flea. The Moxy Show ran on Cartoon Network from December 5, 1993, originally as The Moxy Pirate Show,to December 25, 1995; its finale was the sole episode for The Moxy & Flea Show. Reruns lasted until May 25, 1996.

Moxy was voiced by comedian Bobcat Goldthwait

Flea was originally voice by comedian chris rock , later

By Penn Jillette.

The pilot did not test well enough to allow more episodes to be produced and was eventually canceled due to low ratings

And considered lost media .

The show was really about a 3-D rendered dog and flea

Who ran a pirate tv station and later got hired by cartoon network much to his dismay of meeting his heroes he

Would end up doing janitor work or stand in as an extra or prop , he would always get his Hope's up while his flea
Friend would be a comedic foil and show him the reality

Of his delusions much like butthead would do to beavis .

The moxy show

The theme song : "De La Funk" by RenΓ© De Wael

The CGI Moxy is considered the first real-time (sometimes called a "live") cartoon, though only broadcast live through the "Great International Toon-In". A puppeteer wearing a motion capture apparatus would act out Moxy's motions.

Considering this was 1993 - 1995 this technology was

Revolutionary at the time maybe early precursor to

Mocap / motion capture. The graphics were comparable

To early sony ps1 / psone

No-Show & Tell

The act of one calling in sick to work and then updating their facebook page with embarrasing graphic details of their illness to prove they are sick.

Tom called in sick today. We all know its probably BS, but his facebook status says he has burning diarrhea. Probably a No-Show & Tell.

Show Towels

Towels hung at certain times of the year in the bathroom by the wife, mother, or female of the house to confuse the hell out of the Husband, son, or males in the house. These towels are meant for show only and are not to be used at all by anyone living in the home or guests that may come over. If they are used, the wife, mother, or females of the house will flip out on the husband, son, or male of the house that used the towel.

Female: "Ok who just used the Christmas towels in the bathroom?

Male: "I did. Why?"

Female: "NO YOUR NOT SUPPOSED TO USE THOSE TOWELS ! USE YOUR HEAD! USE THE OTHER TOWELS YOU MORON!

Male: *Gives a very confused look and asks*

What the hell? Why not?

All females in the house respond: BECAUSE THEY ARE "SHOW TOWELS" YOU IDIOT!

show-face

to make an appearance, maybe to an event, party, club, get-together etc, that you don't want to be your final destination.

Nando: "I'm having this event tonight you wanna come out?"
Lisa: "Yeah, i may show-face, it depends on what's going on, ya dig?"
Nando: "I dig"
