Existential Crisis

An 'Existential Crisis' is when an individual questions the entire meaning of life itself and wonders if being alive even has a point. This gets in the way of everyday things such as, eating cereal, listening to the next step soundtrack on repeat and being vegan.

'she ruined my holiday!'
'don't worry about it Richard, she just had an existential crisis'

midlie crisis

Realizing halfway through a fib that you're going to be called out on it. Usually triggers a spree of reckless embellishments to cover over the logical gaps.

I was telling my boss I was late because of traffic, but then I remembered he lives near me and I had a midlie crisis. I told him I took a different route to pickup my kids, and then explained I had just adopted children this weekend...

crisis management

Management by crisis is a phrase used to describe the common problem of allowing unexpected events, interruptions, problems, or emergencies to dictate your priorities and actions.

Successfully diffusing a crisis requires an understanding of how to handle a crisis – before it occurs.

To eliminate the worst practice of management by crisis you need to take two important steps. First, you must distinguish between a real crisis, which is something important that requires your immediate attention, and other lesser problems, events, or interruptions that do not qualify as a true crisis. Hence the word Crisis Management.

Something you have when you fail at something easy and dumb

Mom:"What happened to the food"
Me:"I burnt it with a candle"

Me:"What's the point of living"
