Working something out with a casual conversation.
"Chatting it out makes it so easy to talk about"
A huge dick who keeps talking about serious shit (ie: cancer, death, suicide, 9/11) on the general chat on Discord, or someone who vents their negative emotions outside the discord vent channel. Also applies to people who are extremely negative and only talk about stuff that should go in vent chat and not general, but do it in general anyway.
Emma: Let's just chill on Discord!
Mark: *talks about XXXTentacion's death and gets into the gory details but knows this is a general chat and he hated Tentacion*
Emma: *crying* You are being such... a vent chat dick!
staying up too late, chatting with friends, especially in different time zones.
Chat-lagged: Misinterpreting IM messages because of a altered state of mind.
Chat-lag: The act of replying to IM in a delayed fashion as a result of chatting with multiple people at the same time

When someone is chatting, and a a server of the chat provider is weak or your's/their internet speed is weaker. Someone says something, often a question, and is answered before the whole questions said. often associated with strong awkwardness

General Chat (TEC HUB) was the most ultimate meeting place for all the gamers. Only legends appear in this chat. Frequently post memes and roast the shit out of each other. Overall the chat is great, having its ups and downs. One of them being frequent shit storms, which end in a mute or ban.
