A store that sells a few good things, and a lot of crappy things. I'll go there to buy a bracelet or a pair of shoes, maybe a band shirt. I don't think that wearing Hot Topic clothes makes you different, because, as your first grade teacher probably told you, your clothes don't make you "different". I also don't understand why some people think that wearing Hot Topic pants makes them better than everyone else.

Hot, but not totally smoking hot. Girls who are sneaky hot are not usually in the conversation of being among the hottest of their group, but when mentioned or seen you remember that they are rather attractive. They are generally better looking in person than on TV or in pictures.

A clothing store in which one travels to in order to obtain various articles of apperal. This establishment markets their merchandise towards those who desire to appear hardcore and to be original. But by shopping at this Hot Topic, you are not really original because anyone can shop there. If by shopping there you are looking to be original you are not original because if you were original you would already be original and not trying to be. A woman that from a distance or in a dimly lit room, appears to be quite attractive. As she comes closer or the lights come up, it's discovered that her "hotness" is a result of copious amounts of make up. Upon closer inspection, the make up is covering up serious acne, a scar, an undesirable prison style tattoo or the fact that the woman in question, just isn't very attractive.
