Friend Up

F U.. or Friend Up means to step up as a friend and do something a friend requests; or to hangout. It can also mean to become friends with someone. Like the term 'man up', it's almost the same, but.. friend up means 'be a friend'. Friend Up is changing the way people see the abbreviation F U.

Example 1:
Person 1: Dude come inside the beer store with me
Person 2: I can't bro I'm way too high to handle seeing people right now
Person 1: Come on man... Friend Up
Example 2:
Person 1: Hey do you want to Friend Up?
Person2: Ya lets do it

acquainta-friend

Someone that you hang out with, you like but you wouldn't class as a friend and you spend too much time together to be just acquaintances. You're not colleagues or family and there is no sex involved.

Maybe you snogged at a party once but there was no spark or you bonded over your shared love of The Manchurian Candidate but that's where your commonality ends. You're comfortable grabbing a coffee with them when no-one else is available but would never dream of crying on their shoulder, discussing your hot and heavy date life or even letting slip where you live. They are an acquainta-friend.

Organic Friending

1. The act of getting off your lazy duff and away from your life sucking computer to actually meet some people in the REAL WORLD! (You know, like when there were no computers, Internet or smart phones) ;->

Txt Message 1. Hey Rod, let's go out and do some organic friending tonight at the night club instead of sitting here all night pushing buttons staring at a screen.

Txt Message 2. Ok Billy Bob...Let's Do It!

Meme Friend

A "Meme Friend" is the lowest form of friendship. Also known as, "The Meme of the friend", Meme friends are like a "neighbour", you know them and you can't ignore them, so you say "hi" when you pass them bye. You can't talk to them about serious things, so you just say/share light hearted things, like memes. It can be seen as an insult to call someone a meme friend, therefore you shouldn't tell someone you, "just see them as a meme friend!"

"I can't trust you, you're such a meme friend"
"Do you think he will want to come out with us at the weekend" reply, "Nah, he's more of a meme friend"
"I don't see you guys as my real friends, you're more like my meme friends"

Friend Factor

When you like someone, but you can never muster up the courage to talk to them when they're with friends. Whether it's because you don't feel comfortable with the friends, or you don't want to embarrass yourself, these friends are a major cockblock for you.

Ex. 1. I want to talk to Tommy, but his friends are with him!

I hate being a victim to the Friend Factor!

Ex. 2. If I go up to Rick and his pals, I know I'll embarrass myself! Stupid friend factor >:(

friendless friend

When nobody likes you but there is one person who takes pity on you and calls you their friend so you don't fade away into nothing.

Bob is my friendless friend because he is a loser and no one likes him
