A euphemism for "Fuck you!" coined by the Hill sisters of Ashland KY when their children were young. Can also be used in lieu of flipping someone off in mixed company. The phrase came from an episode of "Mad About You" in which Paul Reiser's character has just had words with a client. As the client storms offsreen, Paul calls out, "Are we still on for tennis? . . . Does that mean at 1:00?"

Best enjoyed after (in fact it only really qualifies as 'a mad one' after) at least one night's sleep deprivation.
(It is also worth noting that 'a mad one' is normally accompanied by almost continuous, totally sincere but basically pointless, apologies to anyone nearby who is halfway normal)

A shitty boy band that basically came out of nowhere. They're only famous because they won X Factor. They produce horrible over-autotuned music, look like they're not even 16, and the only slightly good thing they have going for them is their hair. They mind control girls into liking them and their disgusting music. The only thing their fans talk about is how "hot" One Direction is and how they want to fuck various members. If anyone even dares to voice their opinion on them, these girls will track you down and force you to say differently.
