A pejorative term for a meddlesome entitled moral busy body that is always trying to lord over others and impose their will on them through various means including but not limited to legal coercion, harassment, slander, gossip, ostracization, condescension, bullying, and fear mongering. The term originates from a stereotypical middle-aged female malcontent imagined to be named "Karen" that the entire HOA neighborhood quietly loathes.
Omg, that Karen demanded to speak to the manager when she couldn't get something she wanted that was never even on the menu but she didn't realize I WAS THE MANAGER so I showed her the door. She'll probably sue us now. Oh well
an insult to a women or thot who has a fondness of talking to managers, driving kids to soccer practice, browsing Facebook and instasnap, workout selfies, technology dis fails, claiming this exact word being as insulting as the word nigga ( don't worry I have an N-Word pass), being a real fucker, ect..

A person who always complains about a simple problem (that is usually cause by someone else) instead of fixing on her/his own and gets angry quickly and seek a third person that has more influence/power to solve the problem for her/him.
A Karen is usually a white middle aged woman
Employee: Boss, there's a karen that wants to meet you. She wants 10 instead of 8 olives on her sandwich but she has already paid for it and now she wants another one for free.
A group of middle-age (mostly) white ladies who thinks she's way better than everyone and complain about every single thing

There was this Karen at the Walmart screaming at the cashier got not letting her use 15 coupons at once for one item. She threw a tantrum when she was escorted out of the market.
