Any band that sound good, excellent or mind-blowingly brilliant.
After the original skiffle ensamble, The Good Tea Band, who were alleged to have whipped their 50's audiences into a frenzied, hysterical euphoria with their Tea-Chest bass and banjo rhythms, akin to the eastern spiritual 'dervish' experience.
Thus they were banned by the Tempererance Society (Whitby) at the time, but still proved very popular in Staithes (North Yorkshire bohemian coastal village).
Grungy Kid: Seen any good bands lately.
Hip Kid: Yeah. Caught the Arctic Monkeys. Mint!
Grungy Kid: Were they good tea.
Hip Kid: They were the good tea band of this year, dude!

A Boston rock band that was popular in the 1970s and early 1980s who had great songs such as "Whammer Jammer", "Give it to me" "Must of got lost", "Detroit Breakdown", "Love Stinks", "Centerfold", and many others. Even though they aren't as popular as they once were, they are still popular in the state of Massachusetts.
The J. Geils Band is one of my favorite bands of all time.

A show on MTV that made me ashamed to be black.
After watching an episode of Making the Band 2, I had an overwhelming need to tell white people that black people do not ACT LIKE THAT.

A phrase used to warn others (friends etc) that they have attracted a stalker. A stalker alert without having to mention the words stalker in front of a stalker.
I'm out at a club and my best friend has some 40 year old sleaze bag hovering over her. So I say "wanna see a band" and she replies "yeah let's get the f*ck out of here"

The Pennsauken Marching Band is The Marching Band at Pennsauken High School. Its the only school in the north where "halftime is game time". While the pride for most other sporting events are lack luster at best Pennsauken proudly boast about having the most obnoxious loud and crazy fan base possible lead by the proud parents of these marching bruisers. While no actual physical altercations have broken out in its history they're not afraid to get in anyones face if you look at them the wrong way.
Freakin run its the Pennsauken Marching Band.
