the act of hooting your horn at random and unknown other vehicles for amusement. The amusement may come from performing the act itself, or, from laughing at the expense of the victim who is unaware as to why they have been beeped.

An age old game invented whilst driving in convoy in Wales by Ashley Adams, Kris Farrell and Mark Tompson of Royal Leamington Spa.
The aim of the game is to scare as many sheep as possible by using the horn of your vehicle. Beeps longer than 5 seconds are not a loud.
That game of beep-sheep was intense, the cows even started running.

A small cheap car, an "econobox". Beep boxes typically have a boxy, boring, no-frills body style and a high pitched horn that sounds like it belongs on a toy car. The old Chevy Chevettes and Ford Festivas are typical examples of beep boxes.
John didn't have much money, so he had to buy a beep box.
