1. A term to define hardcore and metalcore kids, mainly around demographics of 24 years old and under. These are the same kids who may be considered fashioncore, emo, hXc and etc. with their tight jeans as well long shags blindfolding their eyes.

2. A way of saying "cool" in definition #1's very perspective of relevance. It's used to express approval/acceptance usual to a scene kid by a scene kid.

A style for kids around under 25, they have black hair covering the front and spiked in the back. Blonde streaks in the front, or blonde in back and black in front works. Girls and guys like dinosaurs and robots and aeroplanes and elecro terms. They wear flashy sunglasses and tight jeans for guys and girls. Converse taylors or vans slip on shoes only. White studded belts and tight shirts with collars over tight bands tees .. Scene kids like neon colors, and go to concerts with their friends. Girls wear bows and clips in their hair like when they were little.

" Hey wanna go to the bloodbrothers concert tommorow?"

Scene is not about "cute" bows, wild hair, and myspace pictures. It is about the music and supporting your local SCENE. Supid little "scene" sluts try to take the scene for exactly what it is not... a fashionstatement. The scene is about the music and nothing more. STOP BEING PUSSIES AND RUINING IT YOU DUMB BITCHES.

Usually deals with post-hardcore/metal people of a younger age. Also known as the coolist fuckin kids in the world.
Black hair, black clothes/tight clothes, messy/creative hairstyle. Some but not all are straightedge. Eyeliner is typically worn to local shows, and most are heavy slam-dancers, not the 'must kill everything in the pit' type.

All the cool kids you see at hardcore-metal shows who aren't destroying everything.

What emo kids call themselves, because it is part of an emo kid's nature to continually deny that they are emo. So the emos of the world made up "Scene," which is the exact same thing, only with a possibly more emo word. Fuckin' emos.

SCENE = EMO. Don't let the emos fool you, it's exactly the same thing.

A synonym for dating that refers to a couple with a strong public presence. To be On The Scene with someone is to be in relationship that takes place primarily in public settings (concerts, clubs, protests, etc).
