Detroit is a city full of history, vibrant neighborhoods, great food and culture. The racists and bigots long ago left and it is a very tolerant place to visit. There is virtually very little crime in the downtown area and there never was.
Detroit is often known as 313 , its area code and a past birthday, the D and especially Motown for its cars and music.
