3) noun) A crappy genre of music that is basically a random collaboration of rhyming (although rhymes are becoming increasingly unnesecarry) phrases that somehow make the rapper a better person because he/she (usually he) committed a crime or senseless act of violence, went to prison, got dumped or cheated upon, got stoned or high (Usually stoned, I've never heard a rapper on speed or acid),shot someone or something, or otherwise made a bad situation make them look good.
*I have also noticed that gratuitous use of the term "Yo" and bad grammar apparently improve the rap's quality.

rap is anything involving how much money they make, how many hoes they got in "da back", how many different cars they have, screaming different area codes, if they say the same word over 7 times in a row, and having nice shoes.

The most horrible excuse for music ever that is all about sex, drugs, violence, guns, rape, gang life and money. They also swear 100000 times per "song".

in my opinion rap with lyrics like this sucks ..im not saying rap sucks im only saying rap with shitty lyrics sucks which is usually around 60% of rap.. im not picking on rap here, if any music had crappy lyrics about being fucked every night by a different girl then i wouldnt like it..
also if rap contained really good lyrics then that would make it a really good song...
what im trying to say is here is that basicly there not putting any effort into there songs and are just writing about screwing girls and doing pot every song..

Poetry - sometimes - and often confused or misnamed as music which it is clearly NOT. SOME music contains rap lyrics. Gansta Rap, which is an attempt at offering machismo, fails to entertain the educated masses as they are aware that such garbage is only useful in making the misnomered "entertainer" clearly one of the GREATEST assholes that ever walked, flew over, swam on, or inhaled oxygen - or any life sustaining substance - from, ANY PLANET in the universe.
