(n00b) Not to be confused with the words 'newb' or 'newbie'. A noob is someone who either a) has been playing a game or doing something for a long time and still just doesn't get it or is horrible b) Has been playing a game for a short period of time and asks questions that the answers are in plain view (yes, sometimes 'noob' and 'newbie' cross paths.
