The off message way to describe California's proposition 8 from the 2008 election year. This propostition banned marriages between people of the same sex, and defined marriage as between a man and a woman.
In enlightened gay right's circles,t calling it "prop h8" is frowned upon. The thought being that it only viliffies the opposition and makes it hard to open communication lines between the gay and striaght communities; thus actually making it harder to get people to vote for marriage equality. No one likes to be called names.
For the angry and short sighted political gays, this is a way to express the anger they feel towards the sometimes muted hatred that often colored the campaign rallies, literature, etc.
When Prop H8 passed, it hurt me, my community, and my family. I hope you never have to experience that.

a proposition in california that was voted in in 1978. it kept the property tax on houses from rising unless it was sold to somone outside the family. property tax in california, and in most other states, is what the education system gets its money from. so when prop 13 went into effect, the entire education system went into dissaray, and now the public shcool system in california has gone from being ranked 5th best in the country before prop 13 to 2nd to last after. it makes it so that there are little pockets of good schools, but the majority of public schools are no where near where they should be to teach the children of california.
libertarians pushed prop 13 through the california government, and now the public education system is 2nd from the bottom in the country.

a third party who aids the efforts of getting two people together for sex by way of influincing their reluctant friend; a subset duty of a "wingman" or "wingwoman"; the opposite of a cock block.
Initally, it was looking bad for Billy. The girl he was hitting on (Suzy) wasn't 100% sold. Billy's wingman, while good, wasn't quite on his game. Fortunately, Suzy's friend Betty, in her capacity as Suzy's wingwoman, decided to cockprop Billy and talk him up to Suzy in the woman's bathroom. With wingwoman approval, Suzy decided to go home with Billy.

when your on a boat and you have to go to the bathroom, go into the water and hang off the end of the boat by the propellar and do your business in the water. this is a nicer way to say "im gonna go piss in the water"

when a someone around you (usually a pedestrian, hence "ped") applauds you or is impressed with you, usually this is aimed towards skateboarders, but it could also be aimed at street performers, mimes, etc. this phrase also appears in some of tony hawk's video games.
