A description given to describe evil thoughts, bad thoughts common to all people. To describe anger/rage/depression.
It's like as if, when you have a bad day, and you're angry, or life just isn't working out and you feel like harming yourself. Or you have thoughts of tricking people, being mischievous for your own gain from their loss. Just thoughts in general most would wish they didn't / shouldn't have.
When consumed by the aforementioned thoughts the word Satan was given to describe that sometimes over-whelming feeling. Everyone has those thoughts and feelings at some point or another.
When you're just 'filled' with that anger, you could almost describe it like something entered you, you weren't yourself. Satan was the name given to that fictitious entity. At least in the books of 'Job, Matthew, Mark, Luke'. Some of the other books seem to take him as a literal / physical entity. The whole definition of it seems to become skewed throughout the passages referencing it.
It's just human beings having evil thoughts, thinking of doing bad things; Not wanting those thoughts, as a form of coping with those thoughts, they gave it a name, and that name is Satan.
I stubbed my toe, then Satan entered me, I felt really angry, wanting to destroy that table. Satan tempted me to do it! But after the pain receded, Satan had left and I was no longer angry and glad I didn't break my table.

GOD gives us life, SATAN gives us "A" life, only so he can laugh at us when we die, giving us knowledge of him and our entire life and letting us know he was there at every point of our lives giving us all that we lusted and wanted, only to grasp a soul away from God, God and Satan shake hands and are buddies, and so are "we" with Satan he is jealous he can't live in this world, so he uses us as his puppets
to do his dirty work for him, mocking God, God just sits back and watches, while the devil is laughing at God, using "us" as his PUPPETS!!!....just like with "Adam and Eve" The Devil tempted Eve with the Apple, and God banished them out of heaven and into the Earth so he play his sick game as a Puppet Master!!!
Satan is my buddy, as is everyone else's!!!

Satan is the real God of Earth. The fake God everyone believes in is a hypocrite and liar about such faith! There is no such thing as Allah or those other stupid gimicks!
Sinning is a part of life... If no one ever sinned "Jesus" would of died for nothing and life would be pointless therefore meaning God isn't useful to your religion. So if you rather disagree fine so be it i got nothing against you wasting your own life, but don't come knocking on my door when you want forgiveness! Especially if you didn't bother reading this and decided to stop reading half way through and skip to the next Definition!

The best thing satan did was manipulate the world into thinking he doesn't exist, that way no one would fear the punishment of their souls.
