Scene Kid

These days, anything can be classified as "scene". Scene kids often get called emo or posers. Most scene kids tend to hang out in the city with their other scene friends. Most scene kids have myspace, and have myspace fame from it. A lot of them get noticed by others from myspace. Scene kids with a lot of friends tend to be better looking and can get away with wearing anything. Most scene boys wear tight skinny jeans, of any colour with t shirts, usually of local screamo bands. Scene girls wear clothes that don't match, but they still look good. They like to wear a log of leggings and bows in their hair. They like to have cute little childish t shirts as well. Scene kids hair is usually cut by themselves, or a very expensive hair dresser. Most of the time, their hair will be black with sometimes patches of neon colours. Usually, if their hair is not black, it's bleached to the palest colour you could possibly get.

Scene girls never leave the house without make up and wear a lot of eye makeup. Piercings are another big thing with scene kids. A lot of them have their septums and snakebites done. Scene boys sometimes have very small stretchers in their ears. Scene kids like to hang out at the shops and at gigs and concerts. They hang out in large groups of at least 7 or something. A lot of scene kids have Jeffree Star, Hello Kitty and Oliver Sykes on their profiles.

In conclusion, anyone that doesn't fit the criteria of "normal" is scene, emo, gothic or whatever.

conversation of some scene kids:

"omg are you AnnaATROCITY from myspace?"
"yehhh I am."
"well I'm JosieJURASSIC from myspace!"
"oh my god. *hugs*"

Scene Kids

An extremely gay trend sweeping our nation. It consists of posers who for some reason think it's cool to be illiterate and act dumb. They often talk about "dinos" and think it's cool to say "balls" and "crunk" and "hxc!". They usually end words with "z's" (ex: ballz). Also, they will give a word many extra letters that are unnecessary. (ex: heeeey whatssss upppp?) Plus, they have a very lame sense of style. Their style consists of shirts with obscenities written on them or a robot or dino or lightening bolts. Either way, it all sucks. They are the reason hot topic is corrupt these days and filled with gay crap like "invader zim" or "domo". It's quite annoying, actually. They like to say that they are original but they aren't because everyone else has been doing this same trend much longer than them. They also like to say they hate stereotypes but then they create it for themselves. Haha. They wear "cruuunk jewelry" that they find at claire's. It's usually dumb beads that are of neon color. They swear that they are the coolest people around but they are so oblivious to the world they can't see that they are SO ANNOYING and people hate them. The girls are usually dykes and have short nasty looking hair with very poorly cut choppy hair. Or, it's very long and they are what I call "prep-scene". This is a branch off of normal scene kids, taken over by preps. They are obsessed with all of the same things a normal scene kid is, but they also have a weird obsession with peace. It's not like they actually care about a cause, they just think it's cool to use a a fashion trend. A lot of scene people constantly act as if they are unsure of what their sexuality is. They say one day they are bi, then the next day, they're gay. Suddenly, they're straight. They will do anything for attention and are myspace whores. They are also whores in general sucking any dick or pussy in sight. (They don't know their sexuality, remember?) For an odd reason, they assume it's cool to have random outbursts such as screaming "MEEP!" "OMFG!", etc. They add tons of people they've never met on myspace just because they are "sceeeene kidz, yo!". Their myspace's are so irritating and filled with random pictures of dinos, alex evans, vampires, etc. They often post bulletins on myspace telling people everything that has happened in their lives as if they want someone to be jealous when no one cares. They are annoying fools that are attention cravers and honestly need a life.

Scene Kid

The Scene Kid has changed over many times and continues to evolve to escape being called "emo" or "scene" so then can be called "br00t4l"
In this i will be identifying the neo scene kid.

Neo Scene:

Guys: think scene but so much more gay
Almost always V-necks and they have to be tight. Tight jeans and or jean cut offs with moccasins. hair can be alike the old scene but also have a piece of hair sticking in the back referred to as a "scene spike" they all think they are "br00t4l" or "chill"

Girls: Not as much obvious...They wear a wide variety but mostly preppy clothes such as Tank tops, solid bright colored shirts, and now bright baseball shirts.
For pants it can be tight jeans, short-shorts, skirt with leggings. Some are more flamboyant and bright than others.

In all entirety they have no fucking clue that they are scene and are offended when you call them that. Most grow out of it and develop their own style but alot of them are positive that they are cool and are unique.
They all think that The Devil Wears Prada and Bring Me The Horizon are extremely good and talented.

scene kid myspace names such as:
tylertyranny
chasechainsaw
lesleylock
anniearsenic
cassiecyanide
mariahmassacre

and you get the picture

Scene Fag:"I'm so br00t4l d00d i went to that TDWP show and they played HTML rulz d00d!!!!!!"
Scene Kid Friend:"dude i was in the pit and it hurt so bad when i got hit so hard that i cried and left"

scene kid

"Scene" is a sort of subgenre, a mixture of emo and preppy. You can usually spot a scene kid from miles away by their bright, attractive eyeliner/hair colors. Scene boys and scene girls both wear tight girl jeans; usually of the drainpipe variety. Scene girls are often found in attractively arranged if not totally random outfits, which consist of tight jeans, cute tee shirts or thermals with things like hello kitty, the teenage mutant ninja turtles, or power rangers on them. Vans slip ons, usually checkered, make up the majority of their footwear, as well as ballet flats, and just plain flats. Occasionally, wedges, too. Their outfits vary from person to person; vintage sweaters and vests are also popular, as well as tight, gray or black zip up hoodies. And band tee shirts are a must, mostly for metal bands, however, with incomprehensible writing on them and some drawing of a person being eviscerated, and the like. White studded belts are also popular. They also wear large, chunky necklaces, pearls, et cetera.

For boys, it's pretty much the same, however, instead of flats, they're inclined to wear skate shoes, and large "gangster" hats are popular as well. Both genders tend to have lots of piercings, such as a septum, monroe, and the less popular septum. Mostly, they've got a piercing on one side of their lip, and gauges in their ears. Scene boys hair is more often a plain color, such as black or red or brown, as opposed to the myriad of colors that girls can covet. Both usually possess choppy, over-one-eye hairstyles, though they sometimes have mod bangs, too.

Boys can wear eyeliner, though it isnt as encouraged as it is in the emo culture, and girls wear as much or as little as they please. Scene girls are also pretty obsessed with designer labels, such as Chanel and Dolce & Gabanna. Also, both can be seen wearing clothes from stores such as Hollister and Abercrombie. Sidekick 3's are very often used by scene kids. Scene boys are usually a lot less nice than scene girls, though, obviously, it depends on the person. Straight edge is becoming less and less trendy, though a lot of scenesters still are. Christianity and vegetarianism are both pretty trendy, however.

Emo kids and scene kids are completely different, and are not to be confused. Scene kids are more into the 'local scene,' and to the majority of them, music means everything. They'll always be spotted at local shows, concerts, coffeeshops, etc. Scene girls are usually obsessed with fashion, and fashion magazines (i.e. Vogue, and Teen Vogue). Fake eyelashes are also highly associated with scene girls, and they often shave off their eyebrows and pencil them on. Why, you ask? Nobody knows. False nails, and being extremely pale are pretty scene as well. Also, scene kids will always, always, always deny that they are scene. That's one of the many ways you can spot a poseur. After all, real scene kids are too scene to admit that they're scene.

Energy drinks are also highly popular with them, as well as Glaceau Vitamin Water. They also are prone to saying things such as "wdup blud," and "lawlz." Pretending to be a gangster is a big part of the scene image, and many scene kids even listen to rap. But it doesn't make them any less scene! Scene kids always have a myspace, or a xanga, or a facebook, or all three, as well. Their myspace display names are usually something along the lines of "______ Murder," "______ Homicide," etc, etc, though it varies with the person.

Myspace pages of theirs are often filled with songs that used to be popular, (i.e. Tainted Love, All the Small Things, and old rap songs-- you get the picture) and numerous photographs of their favorite designer logo, their alcoholic beverage of choice, and their cell phone. Hello Kitty is also highly popular with girls, as well as coloring books, black and white photographs, and a cityscape photograph. For boys, they often have pictures of admiring scene girls who make them signs, banners for bands that they like, and an energy drink they love.

in conclusion, scene kids r rad! lolz.

Morgen Murder: wdup brah?
Catherine Catalyst: nadaaa grrrl. sup @ you?
Tony Terror: hey grrrlz!
Morgen Murder: omfg, he is soo hawt. lawlz.
Catherine Catalyst: I KNOW! LOL!
Tony Terror: yaaaa baby. r u going to the show tonight? it should be hella tuff.
Catherine Catalyst: like duh!!!! <3333<33
Morgen Murder: lol, what a scene kid!
Catherine Catalyst: IK! but he is too scene to admit it!
