Intelligence gained outside of school. Just as useful as book smarts, and in many cases more so. It can be divided into 4 categories.
1.Getting Along With Others- Knowing which questions to ask and not asking too many,being polite and friendly, but also being assertive.
2.Common Sense- Knowing who you can trust, which areas in town are good and which are bad, etc.
3.Self-defense-Knowing how to fight and fend off an attacker, especially if you are small.
4.BS-detection-Knowing when people are trying to fuck you over, reading their intentions, and knowing that most corporate advertisements are complete bullshit.

A Smart-Retard is a certain person who is often incredibly intelligent in one major category of their life but a complete retard in another (business, family, social,etc)
Joseph is such a smart-retard ... He is incredibly smart when it comes to business and dealing with finances, but is a total retard when it comes to supporting his family.
Someone who is smart in school, but is dumb in almost all real life situations.

A contraction of "nookie" and "book smart". Having the natural ability to read women perfectly in order to get laid.
a) Charlie is too damn nook smart for his own good. He'll never be someone's Mr. Right, but somehow always manages to be Mr. Right Now.
b) Just like how being book smart doesn't help on the streets, it's important to note that being nook smart isn't helpful in long term relatipnships.
