A person who considers a gift and tries to guess weather it's been regifted or not, if they decide it is, they then snub a gift/slag off the giver to others, regardless of proof. Regifting is dificult to prove.

A person who dismisses entire genres of art or entertainment - whether of music, literature, film, visual art etc - as being uninteresting, dumb, below them, or just not what they're into, and refuses to partake of their usage. It may denote avoidance of an entire art/entertainment medium or to subgenres within a medium. It may mean that a person avoids one or more genres out of disdain for them particularly, or, that he/she idolizes one to the ignorance of all others.
Within the different art mediums there are many typical categories that are routinely shunned:
Within music people are often heard to say they will listen to anything besides rap and country. A variety of styles of music throughout history are often labelled 'classical' and seen in a narrow light - usually viewed categorically as light music - and are never experienced by the unfortunate ignoramus.
In literature there are many who would never dream of reading anything found in the science fiction section of a book store. Some people will only read non-fiction, believing that all fiction is a waste of time. Even within genres there may be subgenres that are ignored, such as beat poetry within poetry.
Some film fanatics wouldn't be caught dead watching anything 'on TV'. And many voluminous TV watchers couldn't handle a sports telecast. I myself am a genre snob toward car racing of any type, which I think is boring and retarded as a spectator sport.
"What, you don't want to go the movies with me because you don't like foreign films? That's just dumb. What a genre snob you are."

A person who thinks a particular car manufacturer is better than others; just because of the badge. They will avoid the less popular manufacters because they're not accepted by society.
Don't listen to what Matt said about your new peugeot. He's stuck in 2010 & a complete badge snob!
Someone who hears bass playing from another car and thinks "mines better".
Someone who insists their weed is superior to all others. They will say that their weed is the shit and that yours sucks. They also care much more about knowing what the stupid strand names are than actually smoking the fucking weed.
"Dude I got the best fucking herb yesterday. It's called Lemon Kush. It's the shit dude it's so much better than that cheap crap you smoke."

A person, male or female, who cannot wear denim priced less than $200 per item. These people also denegrate the character of people who do not wear 'high-end denim' as tastless, fashion ignorant boobs. Ironically, the denim snob prefers denim that looks like it's been run through the ass end of a wood chipper or paint factory. The denim snob will wear their expensive denim all year round, and with any item, preferrably too-tight t-shirts.
I love Hannah, but she is such a denim snob. We're going broke. We don't have anything to eat, but there's plenty of jeans. Too bad we can't eat jeans for dinner.

A fan of the Los Angeles band Tool who takes an elitest mindset of the group, such as dismissing non-fans as "not understanding the music", or claiming detractors to be fans of death metal or black metal music. In forums and online encyclopedias, Tool snobs also deny/downplay the band's notorious influence in the nu-metal genre (according to his personal website, Fred Durst is one of many who claim Tool to be a prominent influence), and also sometimes accuse any comedian of being a rip-off of the late Bill Hicks (who Tool admires.)
TOOL SNOB: "Tool is the most progressive band I have heard in a long time. Yet I never heard of Porcupine Tree, Opeth, or Kotipelto. Are they just the same old death metal bands?"
TOOL SNOB: "You just don't understand their music. Listen to it again. This stuff is deep, like my joint."
