Volmert's law

Volmert's law is a rule that allows employees to have an excused tardiness due to sexual activities.

Don't worry honey we have time to finish, I will just implement Volmert's law.

Lathrop's Law

The principle that outlines how obstacles, inconveniences, and interruptions are most likely to occur at the least opportune time.

Me: I leave for work an hour before I'm due to clock in so i have about 20 minutes in case anything happens on the way in.

Co Worker: So then how did you wind up 10 minutes late today?

Me: I left 10 minutes later than i normally would courtesy of my cat- but the accident on I-95 is what really screwed me.

Co Worker: Lathrop's Law my friend, you plan, fate laughs.

Allen's Law

In order to prove that an event has occurred, one must have three witnesses or a picture/video or it did not happen.

"Bro last night I drank a how bottle of Bombay by myself and didn't get drunk!"

"You got 3 witnesses or a video"
"Naw"
"Didn't happen, Allen's Law!"

ACS Law

A synonym for Karma.

ACS Law is (soon to be 'was') a law firm specialising in indiscriminately sending threatening emails to people they believe to be illegal file sharers. Although their most noted case prior to 2009 was the defence of a British national accused of public indecency in Dubai, they are better known for noobing up their security and having their internal emails leaked.

Your partner slept around after finding out you'd been unfaithful? That's ACS Law, baby.

LaCroix's Law

LaCroix's Law states that as an internet discussion evolves, eventually someone that disagrees with a person will imply that the person watches Fox News and is therefore a moron. This person believes invoking LaCroix's Law "wins" the debate. (see Godwin's Law for a similar adage).

the internet poster Teabagger just invoked LaCroix's Law by posting that internet poster Joe SixPack is a moron and therefore must watch Fox News.

Kim's Law

Every new head of marketing must push to build a custom CMS

New CMO: "Hey guys! Glad to meet you all. We can all agree that WordPress is garbage, am I right? We're better than that!"
Dev whispers to other dev: "Kim's Law strikes again!"
