La Candola of Lubao

La Candola of Lubao is the fake immitation of Lakan Dula of Tondo. The two are not related. Lakan Dula of Tondo is a patriot, La Candola of Lubao is a Spanish collaborator. Historians believe that La Candola

(La Candaba) is not real. It is just an attempt to relate to Lakan Dula of Tondo in a crude way.

La Candola of Lubao is like the fake medals of Marcos.

Viva la Vida

A song that's apparently been written by everyone.

-Cat Stevens is suing Coldplay.
-What for?
-Apparently they stole the melody for Viva la Vida from him.
-No way! They stole it from me too!

Another way of saying good bye...originated from one of those gay-looking but hella awesome Nancy Drew computer games...I just don't know which one because there's like a billion now.

Nyjah: Hey, I gotta go.
Fiona: Okay, hasta la pasta

Asta La Vista

1. It means "Spear to View" in Spanish.
2. What idiots think means goodbye in Spanish.
3. The misspelling of Hasta La Vista.

Those idiots think that Hasta La Vista is spelled Asta La Vista meaning spear the view....

c'est la vie

The best useful translation I've heard is "Such is life" - inferring, "This is just the way life is."

An associated idiom, "C'est la guerre", which means "This is war", would likewise best be interpreted as "Such is war.", inferring "This is just the way war is"

Person A: I hate Monday mornings.

Person B: C'est la vie
