A band from Liverpool,England in the 1960s and John Lennon Name the band (The Beatles) and they have so many good songs that I like and people today really don't like them but they are good!I can't wonder why they are not like because they are old but they are good! John Lennon got shot in 1980 by a dude that was crazy in new york (i think).

Same as said above, only before they were famous, they were called "The Silver Beatles". That didn't go well once they were noticed, so they shortened it =)

The most influential band ever. They may not have been the best, or the most exciting, but they kicked serious ass and set the standard for music.
Stupid kids denounce them because they are "too soft" and "old" and they may have heard one song (Probably Yellow Submarine, to which they only know the chorus) and they go off and listen to Green Day and that bullshit.
Kids like that should shove an icepick through their eye socket and realize that they're favorite bands didn't invent music, it came from bands like the Beatles.
The Beatles will fuck up Green Day.

Greatest band ever, truly revolutionary. Even if you say they were "over-hyped" Lets see how many bands they inspired to start playing and then those bands inspired more bands so they did change the music world like every great band does.

Ass-kicking band from Liverpool in the 60s. Best (or my favorite) songs are Hey Jude, With A Little Help From My Friends, I Am the Walrus, Yellow Submarine, Let It Be, Across the Universe, Come Together, Get Back, Yesterday, and their cover of Twist n Shout!
Members are Paul McCartney (who is the sexiest man alive at the moment), John Lennon (who is just pure awesomeness), George Harrison <3, and Ringo Starr <3.
The Beatles-haters include:
-idiots who haven't even listened to a Beatles song in their life but don't like them because they're 'old'.
-metal heads who don't like them because you can actually understand what they're saying
-'gangstas' who don't like them because they don't talk about fucking a bunch of hoes
-emos who don't like them because...well, what DO emos like?
So yeah, in conclusion, the Beatles rock very hard and Beatles-haters fail very hard.
I wore a shirt that says "The Beatles" and has cartoons of all the members on it to school today, and at least five girls gave me strange looks, probably because I drew hearts around Paul's face.
