They exist solely to create the best football and basketball teams, the two sports which bring in the most money for the school. These two sports fund all other sports on campus and bring in tons of money from alumni and boosters that enriches the school and pays for the spiraling salaries of the coaches and trainers. Arguably the best class you'll ever take as a senior or a junior in high school. You can go home early or even go to school late depending on the campus classes you told your principal to request.
