The time between 3:11 and 4:20. Even though it's 69 minutes long it's still called the "Golden Hour". During this time it's generally considered ok to slack off a little at work and have a couple of energy drinks or snacks to help you make it to the end of the work day. It's also a good idea to spend a prolonged time in the bathroom reading comics or the news.
I'm going to head down to Rite Aid and grab some snacks during the golden hour, want me to pick you up some trail mix?

1) A term used to depict a time period where a lack of skill, ability, or performance was displayed. It is also used to mock people who "find the cheap way" to play games or perform tasks. This term can be used to many different types of situations.
Examples:
Applied to Work:
Boss: "Damn it Johnson! These papers are NOT in alphabetical order. What is this, Amateur Hour?"
Applied to Video Games:
Player A: "Wow, that kid is using a glitch. I forgot it was amateur hour this time of day."
Applied to Home:
Mom: "Rodney, your room is filthy. I thought I said clean it."
Son: "I did clean it."
Mom: "Did you clean it during amateur hour or something? This is atrocious!"
Applied to School:
Professor: "The class average was a D+ on this exam...seriously class, is it amateur hour when you all come here?"

1. (noun) A period of time typically starting soon before last call and ending when a bar/club is officially closed wherein every person who has not yet hooked up and wishes to do so lowers their respective standards to “whatever is available”. Usually results in regrettable hookups with unattractive and/or fat people. When coupled with drinking large amounts of alcohol may result in truly reprehensible hookup scenarios.
2. (adj.) Used to describe a person who would not normally be the object of sexual attraction. Typically said person is extraordinarily unattractive or overweight.
“Hey dude, did you see who Melvin hooked up with last night? She was HUGE!!”
“Well, what do you expect at 3:30AM? It was the magic hour."
“Yo, have you seen the new chick that started this week? She hot?”

1: the last minute, or leaving just enough time to finish the task at hand, sometimes not enough time.
2: doomsday, the end of the world, right before the globe is annihilated, and you dont have enough time to make good on everything you promised or messed up on.
