yt is a slang term for white people that are arrogant as hell and only knows about u.s politics and doesn't even know which country is next to Mexico.

It means white. It also means YouTube but a certain type of people (I won't name who) are so uneducated to the point where they think abbreviation's can only have one meaning.

In Twitter language, a yt is a white person (typically a woman) that appropriates black culture: AAVE, box braids, unattainably deep tans, types of lace fronts, jewelry, plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures; anything to appear other than white.
