critical Mass

A supposedly "deciding" Sunday service that someone of Catholic faith feels that he must attend prior to death if he still wants to avoid going to Hell.

This whole "deathbed confession and reformation" bu**s**t just sounds like another example of "critical Mass" to me --- it sounds waaaaayyyy too "easy" or "convenient" a way to be evil and selfish all your life. How can things truly be "made whole again" if you've seriously mistreated others for many years, and then suddenly atone for it "at the last minute"?? There are still all of those other people whom you've hurt (and have had their lives ruined by your meanness) to think about --- why don't you make said "born-aginner" beliefs truly count by arranging for the restorations of those other people's losses, rather than just symbolically "making your peace with God" but still ignoring all the damage you've done over the past decades?!

critically caucasion

adj. A person who is pale and/or so fair skinned they would burn under a lightbulb.

You may be critically caucasion if, say, it’s beautiful outside, you want to enjoy the day so you lather on the SPF, head outside for an a couple hours running errands/playing with your kids/ a drive with the sunroof open.

The next day you wake up in pain, it hurts to move, your skin is so red and sore. You’ve got some weird tan lines and all you did was go outside yesterday!

Victim: “I got the worst sunburn yesterday. I applied sunscreen, stayed in the shade, wore a hat. I’m in so much pain...what did I miss?”

Friend: “Well, you're critically caucasion. So there’s that...”

Critical moment

A lot of references to critical moments are made with sports. There are no critical moments in most sports games, somebody being in critical condition is a critical moment. Someone performing well under a lot of pressure where not many people would is a lot different than a critical moment.

The guy who helped his team win a ball game isn't really someone who didn't back down from a critical moment, he's just a guy that helped his team win, or didn't quit if they weren't winning, if a reference is made to a guy on a team that didn't win doing something in a critical moment.
