We Goin' Sizzler

Sports trash talk from the early 1990s, first coined in the movie "White Men Can't Jump". Used to intimidate opponents by implying that those who "goin' Sizzler" had already won the game and were planning to celebrate at Sizzler Steakhouse. Often, and as in White Men Can't Jump, the statement "we goin' sizzler" was known to backfire.

12 year old Little Leaguer whose team was up by 1 run late in the game, and who got to see an R-rated movie (White Men Can't Jump) and thought he was cool: "We Goin' Sizzler, We Goin' Sizzler!"

A true Canadian greeting required for any real conversation.

Jim just gets up in the morning, walks into the kitchen to see his roomate there sipping his Tim Horton's double double coffee.
"How's it going eh?" Queries Jim, formalizing the conversation between them and fulfilling any requisites to speak with non-monosyllables.
Doug, the roomate, grunts in acknowledgement, then pours more coffee and bites his kruller from Tim Horton's, it's all about the tractor wheel eh.

When a wife or girlfriend gets bossy or demanding for an immediate response.

I was in the middle of watching the game and my wife wanted me to take out the trash. I told her I would do it during the next commercial and she started goin' all Kate on me.
