its usually a big clique with ppl that are out going and loud. we have lots of confidence and are usually on a schools sports team: cheerleaders,football were like most likely to be pretty and hot and we hang out with a pretty large group (10 and over) and we usually throw partys and dress like... hot; the guys are usually trouble makers and us girls are usually like always laughing at something or someone. theres alot of drama going on cuz sometimes you can become friends w/the wrong ppl and you trust them unfortunally. and just so all of you know we don't always crave attention, we just get it cuz all of the haters out there! that talk behind your back,i mean don't you get enough of that for your bffs (jk but stil..)

Someone cool or in the clique. Most popular people are jocks and preps. A lot people think popular will end as losers. NO WAY! Notice how more than half the definitions for geek and nerd are worshiping them and most of definitions for jock and prep are making them sound like terrible people who will end up wishing to be you. Not all are jocks and preps. I'm popular and heard of this sight and had to look at what all lies the nerds are putting on here.
Being popular dosen't make you a jock, a prep, and, or gonna end up being a servant for a geek when you get older. I will admit I wear Aero, A&F, AE, and am gonna go buy some H CO. You are usually well liked and, or funny when your popular. I happen to be those things.
You just don't have to be popular with the jocks and preps. I'm popular and in band. Some of the popular kids think it's cool, I get to skip a different class every Thurs for it. You can be popular in your group rather it's, "the clique", your not-so-popular friend (or at least in the eyes of the jocks and hot girls/guys), band, chorus etc. Just remember the more popularity the more chance of bf/gf's.

2. A person who is well known at Suchandsuch High/Suchandsuch Junior High. They can be arrogant, but some are really nice people. The arrogant pick on people because "they ain't pops like us" and hate rock "because it ain't gangsta like us". But the nice one will chat with you about pretty much anything. And some aren't obsessed with rap.

a word that is constantly miss used. its true meaning is for some one who has many friends and every one does truly love them because they are truly awesome. How ever in school people often think they are popular and every one loves them when really they are usually the bigges bitches in the school and most peopole that arnt classified as popular but their standards most likley hate them! So really the definition of popular is Bitch.
