Generally used to imply shock that the previous person has posted something either outrageously distasteful or outrageously off topic.

Where's the flamingo, to be used at the zoo when looking for the flamingo habitat.
Or used in a less literal way, when something or someone is super chill.
"Dude, Mr. Hall is such a flamingo, he let's us sleep in class."
"Really, WTF, is he in room 603?"
wtf stands for "What The Fuck".
Sometimes, when adults use wtf when kids are hearing it, they will say wtf is "What The Fish".
