A very bad habit that millions of people have, producing an irritating "cracking" sound. You'll know it when you hear it, or see someone doing it.
Why can't people crack all their fingers together at once and quickly get it over with?

When your wiping your ass and your finger accidentally tears through the toilet paper unnoticed. Can be especially problematic if you scratch your nose later on.

a finger of beer refers to a small amount of beer consumed in one action from a glass bottle.
imagine your holding a bottle of beer, with your fingers gripping round it, a finger of beer is the amount that needs to be consumed in order to reduce the level of the beer in the bottle by one fingers width lower.
it basically just means drink a mouth full of beer.
