punk rock girl

Bad Ass type girl. Everyone likes her, and knows of her even though she's kind of a mystery. she doesn't open up to many, probably has a lot of secrets. gorgeous to look at. The type of pretty you don't find often. Very smart, almost like she's way older then she is. Loves music, even though most of it you've never heard. She's into everything. Everyday you find out something new about her. She might seem kinda weak but she's brave and way stronger then anyone could tell. Once in a lifetime type of girl.

That new girl is bad ass such a punk rock girl!

punk ass bitch

Useless; good for nothing; of little value, importance. Not worth paying attention to.

"And so i tell him to do it, and he just gave me the finger and walked away!"

"Man, Mark is such a punk ass bitch."

California Crust Punk

One of the most unique scenes within the genre, California Crust Punk can be interpreted as a wave of crusty punk/metal/grind bands during the late 80's and early to mid-90's that played an important (albeit sometimes uncredited) role in shaping the sound of modern crust. Early bands included Apocalypse, A//Solution, Carcinogen, Phobia, Plutocracy, Glycine Max, Neurosis, Mindrot, Confrontation, Dystopia, etc. Many of these bands hailed from southern California and/or the Bay Area and tended to blur the lines between the various strains of hardcore punk and extreme metal to create distinctly unique sounds within the scene at the time. Some notable bands that came later in the scene's history include Noothgrush, Skaven, Enewetak, Unruh, El Dopa, Dead America, Despise You, Gasp, Suffering Luna and many more that are most likely buried by time and dust. Although some of these bands can't be defined as crust in the strictest sense of the term, they each had ties and sympathies towards crust punk in some way, whether it was in sound or ethos. The scene more or less dissolved completely by the early/mid-2000's, but it's influence can still be heard in the sonic tapestries of many punk and metal bands around the world. The Oakland region of the Bay Area has continued to play host to many notable "crusty" bands such as Stormcrow, (later) Graves at Sea, Badr Vogu, Brainoil, Embers, Cruevo, etc.

Me: "I love nearly all of the bands from the California Crust Punk scene!"

Damn near any other person: "California what-punk?"

Defend pop punk

The slogan for the band Man Overboard.

Started out as a joke from this band called The Effort. They had the exact same logo and slogan except it was "Destroy Pop Punk." Man Overboard jokingly turned it into Defend instead and now it's a warcry for kids who love pop punk everywhere.

"My Defend Pop Punk hoodie is the best."

Daft Punk Treatment

A phrase that means to try again, but put more effort into the second try and possibly try many different solutions to previous problems in the process. A reference to 3 Daft Punk songs. "One More Time" referencing trying again. "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" to describe the increased efforts of whatever the subject is. "Technologic" representing the many varied ideas and efforts that go into attempting to improve the subject.

Guy1: LOL the video game Red Steel is going to have a sequel despite the first one being fairly bad.
Guy2: Hopefully they can give it the Daft Punk Treatment.
