Green day ~ day spent to just smoking pot and doing absolutly nothing at all. sitting on the couch, eating food, just not leaving the house at all while you are stoned.
My friends and i got our first paychecks today, and we celebrated by having a green day because my parents were out of town.

A decent band that earned the nick-name 'sell-outs' because their latest album, American Idiot, was popular.
Bruce: Gawd, Green Day is just a sell-out band. They aren't as good as they used to be.
Wayne: Why, because their album did well, and they gained a bunch of new fans?
Bruce: Well, the fans are a bunch of tweens that never listened to their old albums.
Wayne: Wow. I didn't know you had to like EVERY album and EVERY song they made in the past to be a fan of their current work. Dipshit.

A very special day, during which those in love can reinstate their love for one another by buying chocolates, teddy bears, roses, and various other items that are related in one way or another to romance.
Singles reside at home, or brave the outside and cast sneers of contempt toward every gift shop and flower stall selling the aforementioned sappy crap.
Also the one day of the year which holds the record for the most attempted suicides.
All in all, a pretty shite day indeed.

1) A band that many people are starting not to like just because everyone else does, and they think it's "cool" not to go with the "fads". When in reality, the band is atleast 15 or 16 years old. Also, some people are stupid enough to think they're a new band.
But is a seriously good band, has always been great. People tend to split the group into "New Green day" and "Old Green day".
1) " Dude, I like Old Green day way better than New Green day"
2) "Ew, my best friend likes Green day, and like, no way, they're too mainstream"

i always dominate sports day as i rock at 4x100m 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, triple jump and high jump
