Similar to the sexual act of Edging.
However, Dump Edging is a non-sexual act performed whilst taking a bowel movement. It’s done when the pleasure seeker starts to crown, but at the last minute contracts his or her sphincter and sucks it back shut.
After one has performed this several times and finally completes the faecal movement all the way to release, intense feelings of euphoria have been reported along with a rush of endorphins and intense sweating.

For example, Microsoft Longhorn is bleeding edge because the suggested specs are so ludicrously high that nobody would be able to run it.

Ideals invented by Ian MacKaye. Primarily focuses on maintaining a pure body and conscience by abstaining from drugs and alcohol. Promotes monogomous relationships (not mariage) and a vegetarian diet (although this is not essential). Ian MacKaye went so far as to shave his head but no one does this as a sign of their devotion anymore. Early straight-edgers could be identified by 'X's tattoed into their hands.
Straight-edge used to mean something. Now you see kids who shop at Hot Topic using Sharpies to draw 'X's on their hands.
