Super Nintendo

SNES (Super Nintendo Entertainment System); 16-bit home console designed by Nintendo, released around 1991, ceased near 1998.

Quite possibly the greatest gaming system ever made. Every game released was extremely original and enjoyable. The SNES was home to countless kick-ass games.....from Nintendo there was Super Mario World, Super Metroid, Donkey Kong Country, Killer Instinct (I wish it were released on the "Ultra 64" instead, or now to Gamecube, but that wish will never be realized because Microsoft now possesses Rare), Metal Combat (with a Superscope), Super Punch-Out, among many others.
Capcom and Konami were probably the only two major third-party powers for what made the SNES great. Capcom had the Mega Man X series, Street Fighter series, Final Fight series, among many others.....and Konami had the Castlevania series, and kick-ass pre-licensed games like Batman and, ESPECIALLY, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Ahh....memories...lately I hear about how people regret having sold their Super Nintendo's. Well, although I disconnected mine from lack of space, I still have it! ^-^ and I have a collection of Nintendo, Capcom, and Konami titles for the SNES! ^.^
Overall I'd say that it was a great time to be an SNES gamer from the end of 1994 to the middle of 1997.

The fact that the SNES is home to thee most original, enjoyable videogames, and what the SNES was capable of in its days....is what makes the Super Nintendo the greatest videogame system ever made. The Nintendo Gameboy Advance is the triumphant return of the Super Nintendo at least. Pray that it lasts long.

"No the PS2 is the greatest ever made!"
"No the old Nintendo is the greatest system ever made!"
"No the Atari is the greatest system ever made!"

"....those goofs seem to think that the father back in time the better. -_- the NES was good though, I'll give'em that."

Nintendo 3DS

The next Generetion of the Nintendo's line of portable systems. It let's you play Video games in 3d, without those stupid glasses. Many People say it's just another version of the Nintendo DS, but they're wrong.

It has 2 screens, the top one is 3.5 inch and is the one that uses the 3D technology, the down one , 3.02 inch, is touch screen, but no 3D, because the touch would affect the 3D effect. You can play your original Nintendo DS Games, it has a new feature, like an analog stick called Slide Pat, a slider on the side that adjust the 3D effect. It ca play 3D movies and takes picuter in 3D using 2 0.3 megapixels cameras in the front of the handheld.

The Nintendo 3DS cartridges will hold 2GB of game data and look almost exactly the same as those of the current DS. However, there is a small tab jutting out on the one side, most likely to prevent 3DS cards from being inserted in the 1st generation DS. The Graphics can be compared with the Wii graphics.

The 3DS possesses Wi-Fi capabilities and periodically searches for Wi-Fi hotspots and other 3DSs without user input, and will be able to receive data from the Internet or other 3DSs while in sleep mode. The system supports multiplayer gameplay via a local wireless connection or over the Internet

TL:DR The thing that will kill the PSP and dance on his grave

Gamer one: hey, are you getting the Nintendo 3DS when it comes out?

Gamer two: Dude, i was at E3, i saw it, and yes, i will buy it the first day.

nintendo nerd

The original name James Rolfe posted with before changing it to The Angry Video Game Nerd, for copyright and for reviewing games on other systems, such as Sega and Atari.

"Why does the early episodes of AVGN say Angry NINTENDO Nerd?'' "Becuase that was was before he changed it"

Nintendo DS

Latest handheld released by Nintendo. The Nintendo DS is a portable gaming system which sports two screens, the bottom being the touch screen. The DS' main rival is of course the PSP, which is another portable gaming system released by Sony. Personally I think they're both evenly matched, they both have the good things about them and the bad things about them. Being a proud owner of both consoles, and finding both to be great portable systems, I'll go through each console:

The DS. Anybody saying the DS games are just childish, has honestly never tried playing them, and have their head so far up another gaming company's ass that it's almost popping out of their eye sockets. The games, while appealing as "childish", are extremely fun to play, and worth what you pay for. The DS has a very good battery life, the touch screen and mic adds more interactivity to games, and has a decent range of games out too. You can also go online with it, using Wi-Fi. Having said that, there is no real media(music, films etc.) available for it straight away, however Nintendo are working on many new things for the DS, including an internet service for the DS using the opera browser, which is a very good browser equivilent to the Firefox browser. There are also other ways, for instance using a play-yen. The DS is capable of 2D or 3D graphics, and the graphics are equivilent to that of the Nintendo 64.

The PSP. Right now I'm quite disappointed with the games out for PSP at the moment, however there are some pretty good ones in development as I type. The battery life for it is small, however you can buy batteries with increased battery life, but these do cost a lot. The good thing is that you can store photos, music, films and video on PSP memory cards, and it's good to have all of these in my pocket when on a long journey, with the choice of playing a game too. But the normal memory cars that comes with the PSP is only 32MB, so you have to pay for a better memory card, and they cost loads. I had to pay ยฃ90 for a 1GB memory card, and the PSP itself isn't cheap in the first place. There's also some hacks for the PSP, also known as Homebrew. It has better graphics than the DS, which is always nice to have but the actual gameplay of the games comes before graphics, and right now PSP is lacking in a good range of games.

Both consoles are around the same size and there's hardly any difference in weight.

Both are great systems, but my main reason for buying a gaming console was for games, and I'm much more satisfied with the games that Nintendo DS offers me.

Both are evenly matched consoles, but I've had much more fun with the games that Nintendo DS offers me. Fanboys should really play the games before bad mouthing them, but then again, you can't get anything through to a fanboy. ;)
