A person that rejects anime or anything associated with anime like: J-pop/J-rock, anime pictures, anime references, etc. These people will generally act like assholes once a person or individual mentions anything anime. If you encounter any person that acts like this in any way, back off. They will try to rationalize their behavior with opinions instead of facts. Do not try to argue with these types of people, any attempt to defend yourself will only fuel their fire.
This person will often insult any individual by referring to them as: weebs(in an insulting manner), gay, lonely, edgy, etc.
Examples of normy slang include:
"Uh, you watch anime?"
"Weeb, music really."
"You're such a weeb"
John: "Man, Megan keeps hating on her little brother for watching anime."
Sam: "Uh, I know right. She's such a normy!"
someone who thinks reddit is the only good platform, likes memes from 2009-2016, isnt up to the latest meme culture, likes fake deeps, or edits everything with "edit: thanks for ___ likes!" or "edit: thanks for the gold kind stranger!"

A person who is not an addict or alcoholic. A person who can drink normally without developing a drinking problem.

A person whose sensibilities line up with social norms. The opposite of an "Edgelord." Originated on internet forums to refer to people who prefer established, older memes (Bad Luck Brian, Confession Bear, etc), but quickly became shorthand for anyone with any mainstream taste.
Ironic use is growing quickly, to parody people who say "Normie" sincerely. Similar to "Wake up, sheeple."
1 (Sincere): "Bill doesn't even watch Rick & Morty or Regular Show. He's such a Normie."
2 (Ironic): "Normies ruin everything! Wake up, sheeple! "
adj. people who are not addicted to any sort of substance. i.e drugs/alcohol. this term is used specifically by addicts in AA/NA to describe these people.
