a polite way of requesting a hand-holding walkthrough of something for an idiot
Comes from aviation. When a plane lands at an airport, the tower usually gives the pilot directions to his gate. If the pilot can't remember the directions he can request a progressive taxi, where the tower guides the pilot to his gate (turn left... go straight 200 yards... turn right). This is a nuisance to the tower because it requires that someone usually focused on difficult job of directing traffic in the sky to divert their attention to something stupid like giving simple directions on the ground.

A term coined by FoxNews' Bill O'Reilly to describe liberals in a negative way as a means to perpetuate the conservative myth that all liberals are evil and want to destroy America as we know it.
A thinly veiled attempt to further divide our country in a time of national crisis in order to solidify the conservative base of "Traditionalists" as described by Mr. O'Reilly.

It's when you seriously focus on thinking about something important, and the image of someone that you admire suddenly appear in front of your eyes, causing you to lose your thoughts in progress...
It's when you wrote so many definitions several months up to several days before, and they never get posted. You just now realize you never saved them. You quietly go sit down in the corner of the room and cry alone. The mosquito doesn't want to leave you alone because it loves you. You wonder why it found its way here in the first place. Your mind starts wandering, and you forget why you cried. Everything was a "lost in progress" kind of situation.
That is what I call "definitions were lost in progress and nowhere to be found."

Metal that despite how good it can be, is often listened too and defended by pretentious people. Often "prog metal" as its known, is said to me metal for "intelligent people who have good taste". This is not to say that prog metal can not be good, it often is. However it is not always as heavy as other forms of metal, such as Thrash Metal or Heavy Metal.

"James is so pretentious sometimes, when I was listening to Master of Puppets earlier in the car he just kept going on about how much better progressive metal compared to thrash, then he started on about Dream Theater"

A form of ecstatic and euphoric EDM music that is highly repetitive. The music is played in nightclubs, music festivals, etc. Progressive trance is filled with melody and emotion.
